Our cappello is a small lamp lit by LED shaded by a paper “cap” or cappello in Italian, and set upon a cylinder of soft white Carrara marble. The cylinder piece comes from the hole bored through the marble block-shaped base for the iconic floor lamp designed by the Castiglioni brothers. cappello is available exclusively on molostore.com – our home for molo products like softwall + softblock modular system, softseating, urchin and cloud softlight, and float glassware. molostore is also a means to share new products (like float bubble and felt bag) as well as products that are experimental or in editions. molostore gives us the opportunity to sell our products with direct pricing.
