Recently molo participated in acoustic testing for cloud softlight to measure sound-absorption characteristics in order to provide acoustical data to our trade clients. cloud’s sound absorption was measured using the “reverberation-room” method which determines the sound-absorption area of a test configuration by measuring changes in reverberation time at a number of microphone locations throughout the room. In this case, measurements were made in 10 positions. The results show that cloud has strong sound absorption characteristics, similar to a thick piece of fibreglass, and can be used as an effective acoustical treatment.
