heartfelt lantern for Japan is now sold out. Through the sale of 50 limited-edition hand-painted lanterns the project raised $7,500 USD for Architecture for Humanityʼs relief efforts in Northern Japan.

The heartfelt lantern project was conceived just days after the earthquake struck. It was brought about by the desire to help as we thought of our many friends in Japan. Our appreciation for this special place and culture has deepened in our 10-year experience designing and building Nebuta House, a museum and centre for creative culture in the city of Aomori.
