We are excited to announce details of molo’s exhibit in Milano during design week!
molo co founders and lead designers Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen are collaborating with sound artist Ethan Rose to create a multi sensory installation within the 16th century cloisters of an Olivetan Monastery.
The exhibition will use molo softwalls with an experimental sound component that turns the softwalls themselves into speakers.
The cloisters are within Milan’s Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia and the Museum will house a new hub for Design Week, called MOST, an exhibition curated and initiated by Tom Dixon.

Previously, molo collaborated with Ethan Rose on the 2009 project northern sky circle. Todd MacAllen and Stephanie Forsythe designed and built an ephemeral outdoor room using only snow. Ethan Rose composed a sound piece, based on recordings of snow and ice, that was played inside.
