The base, a white marble core, is produced from the hole in an ARCO lamp. To this note, love letter was created as a gesture of thanks and admiration to Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, in tribute to the inspiration that they have given to the world through the ingenuity and emotion of their designs.
love letter with felt rock base
The base is made from our happenstance product – felt rocks. In this version, the electroluminescent letter is perched atop a longer steel wire, allowing the letter to slide along the wire, giving it shifting, almost animated, poses.
