When expanding the float collection, Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen were researching standard sizes of borosilicate glass tubes, which inspired many of the sizes in the original collection. This inspiration is preserved in the large glass vase, wonderfully expanded into a vessel suitable for fresh cut flowers or impressive floral arrangements.
Each piece of float glassware is handcrafted by master glassblowers in the Czech Republic from the finest German borosilicate glass.

Over the years, float has grown to include a series of generously proportioned vessels that continue the same visual language as the original collection.

By virtue of the suspended bowl design, the vase almost melts away, showcasing the full beauty of the flowers held within.

Central to the design of float is the principle that small objects can emphasize the pleasure and delight of everyday moments. Adding seasonal touches, like holly or fresh-cut cherry blossoms, further intensifies this feeling and connects us to nature and the seasons.
