The glass infuser is an optional inclusion, and honours the original study behind float tea lantern—unifying the object by using a sole, pure material for all of its components. It is a thing of beauty to watch a long-leaf tea like oolong unfurl within the glass. A micro-perforated stainless steel infuser, suitable for all types of tea, is included with each tea lantern.
Each piece of float glassware is handcrafted by master glassblowers in the Czech Republic from the finest German borosilicate glass. This extremely pure and chemically inert material is resistant to thermal shock, allowing all float glassware to be used safely with both hot and cold liquids.

beauty on display
There is a great deal of beauty missed in an opaque teapot—float offers an opportunity to embrace a quiet moment and engage the senses as tea unfurls, swirls, and dances in the suspended liquid.
modern tea set
Designed as a complete tea set, the glass infuser balances comfortably in a float tea cup when removed from the lantern.
